WHAT is it about Italian brands and summer? The moment there’s a chance of sunny times al fresco they commandeer all our choice spaces. You know the gang – Aperol, Limoncello, Martini (a key drinks player in the upcoming Festa Italiana) and, of course, hyperactive Peroni. Or to give this brewer of crisp, light beers its full title Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
Their latest collaboration is with 20 Stories, owners of Manchester’s most panoramic roof terrace. Until September this will host a pop-up bar, branded bloom rooms, dedicated seating and an array of summery accessories with appropriate DJ vibes.
A range of Peroni cocktails is available alongside terrace snacks and mains with Peroni pairings; including confit cherry tomatoes & bocconcini mozzarella, wild mushroom arancini with truffle mayo, savoury cannoli, ricotta peperonata, Parma ham and more.
