WE thought Solita had settled down. The attention-seeking, artery-hardening mega burgers that left us gasping for breath we now take for granted – or perhaps we’re all more vegan and have moved on from meat-led ‘dirty food’?
So much for the good resolutions. Check out the menu and the Big Manc and the Manc-hattan Burger are still strutting their stuff. Now they’ve been joined by another mind-boggling burger challenge, described on a Tweet as “It started as a chef’s joke but it’s actually going on sale”.
If the Manchattan seemed a bit of a transatlantic crossover (oven bottom barm roll, pastrami, melted Lancashire cheese, panko fried black pudding, Coney Island mustard and Lancashire sauce), then what can say about the newcomer, pictured above?
It’s a pimped up Chicago Town pizza burger with crinkle cut fries and bacon. Maybe some Mac n Cheese on the side?
