COMING up at Sadler’s Yard in the heart of the Co-op's NOMA district is a five day food festival (May 24-28) with a difference. A Good Feed, is project to highlight and discuss the food culture of the North. It kicks off on Thursday, My 24 with A Good Seed Symposium, curated by the folk behind chef Sam Buckley's (pictured) acclaimed Stockport restaurant, Where The Light Gets In and tackling issues of farming, sustainability and food waste.

The whole free five day event is a collaboration between WTLGI, PLANT, and Jonny Heyes, who runs NQ bars Common and Port Street Beer House as well as IndyManBeerCon.

Co-founder Jonny said: “We wanted to do something that’s about food, community and sustainability. The festival will feature a series of workshops including pot making, pickling and preserving alongside talks and tastings.”

The ultimate focus is to create a permanent Good Feed space, offering incubation for start-up food and drink businesses.
