GO with the ‘glow’ as celebrity nutritionist Madeleine Shaw hosts a supper club at Harvey Nichols on Thursday, May 25 to promote her third book, 'A Year of Beautiful Eating'. It’s all part of a whistlestop UK tour spreading her gospel: “My food philosophy is all about enlivening the hottest, happiest and healthiest you”.
Her previous best-sellers have tapped into the body-conscious Zetgeist, where a raft of beautiful women marry a healthy dietary regime with work-outs, yoga and the like on telly, via Apps and glossy books. Usually they’ve ‘turned their unhealthy lives around’ – in Madeleine’s case by “travelling to Sydney where she learned the art of eating well. Inspired to share her story with others, she is now a trained nutritional health coach, food blogger and creative cook. Her six-week 'Get the Glow' programme is in-demand by an impressive list of high-profile clients, all of whom Madeleine has helped enliven the hottest, healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.

You don’t need to bring your yoga mat to the £40 a head supper club starting at 7pm, or a massive appetite either. The menu, adapted from the book available on the night at a special price, offers a Summer Lovin’ Bowl for starters followed by a main of tray-roasted cod and asparagus or sweetcorn fritters, then rhubarb and coconut rice pudding with, naturally, as petit fours ‘guilt-free’ madeleines with strawberry chia jam. You also be welcomed with a sugar-free cocktail and there’ll be a Q and A and book signing to follow.
