THERE'S a rare treat for lovers of classic French cuisine coming up at CULTUREPLEX in the London Warehouse. The restaurant there, Bistrotheque, is launching a new event series, ‘A Book From My Kitchen’ on Monday, November 25. Soho legend Jeremy Lee of Quo Vadis has chosen Elizabeth David as his muse and will accompany dinner with a selection of show tunes, matched wines and a great line in erudite anecdotes.

The three course menu with snacks he prepares will feature Gallic classics such as Grillade des Marinieres du Rhone and St Emilion au Chocolat served family style. Tickets £50, booking essential via this link
