Bundobust hosts beer matching dinner with cult US brewer Oskar Blues

30 January 2017

NOT content with serving up the city’s most exotic combo of craft beer and Gujarati veggie snacks, Bundobust is hosting a trailblazing American brewery for one night only  (Monday, January 30).

The basement bar/eaterie on Piccadilly Gardens is matching its spicy street food to the beers of Oskar Blues. Originating in Colorado and credited as the first craft brewery to package beer in cans, it now has expanded into North Carolina and Austin, Texas.

Head brewer Jeremy Rudolph is supplying five beers – the likes of Hot Box Coffee Porter, Pinner Throwback IPA and Beerito – to accompany a five-course menu featuring Bundobust’s signature okra fries paneer and mushroom tikka and a bourbon ice cream.

It’s the first of a series of food meets beer events in the pipeline and looks a bargain nat £20 a head (tickets via this link)

Bundobust, 61 Piccadilly, M1 2AQ. Tel: 0161 359 6757. Mon Jan 30, 7.30pm.
