Cloudwater go cask conditioned and launch a festival

16 November 2018 by Neil Sowerby

BUSY times at Cloudwater Brew Co. Not only did they scoop ‘Best Brewery’ and ‘Best Tap’ at the Manchester Beer Week Awards they have also relaunched cask conditioned beer alongside their multi-ward winning keg offering and full details have emerged of their own beer festival, scheduled for March.

The brewery, based on Piccadilly Trading Estate, has rekindled its enthusiasm for real ale, releasing a whole range at specially selected pubs and bars which could guarantee stringent quality controls.

ToM popped into one of these, The Brink, on Bridge Street to sample a couple of these hand-pulled ales – a brown and an ale. Both were superlative.

The brewery’s Friends and Family & Beer festival will take place at at Upper Campfield Market on March 1 and 2. All profits from ticket sales will be donated to charities in Manchester helping the disadvantaged and supporting diversity and opportunity. Session tickets are £60 (+ fees) and include unlimited pours of between 50ml and 100ml. Book tickets here and to discover the spectacular global line-up of brewers involved follow @cloudwaterbrew.
