Cracking Good Food was launched in March 2010 at Chorlton's Big Green Festival. The guys behind Cracking Good Food aim to teach people how to enjoy cooking tasty, healthy, affordable, food from scratch and to inspire and empower people to cook for themselves and their family and friends, by developing their exisiting cooking skills and confidence through hands on cooking sessions and courses, where everyone cooks together and eats together.  The latest courses available include Risottos with Kim and Impressive afters with Gingerkid. This session will revolutionise your everyday cooking. Learn how to make wild mushroom risotto and seasonal squash risotto using your own homemade stock and find out all about how easy it is to adapt the same recipes throughout the seasons with ingredients of your choice.

Sharing his skills honed in Michelin starred restaurants the Gingerkid will be sharing top tips and guide you through the process of making two classic desserts that are as synonymous with France and Italy as pasties with Cornwall and pies with Wigan. Learn how to make the perfect tart tatin by combining rich caramel, dessert apples and shortcrust pastry. You’ll learn how to set cream to the perfect consistency for Panna Cotta, flavouring it with vanilla and serving with seasonal poached fruit. Two visually stunning deserts to impress your dinner party guests!
