WHISKY Festivals are a regular event, as you’d expect at NQ bar The Whiskey Jar but the most appropriate fest has to be the winter warmer Sunday, December 17, offering 450 different varieties of bourbon, scotch and more to sample.
There’s every other drink under the wintry sun too with live music from 2.30pm to 6.30pm and a brand rep from Chivas & Jameson doing a talk in the basement from 3:30pm to 4:15pm plus a Whisky Shop pop-up stall. Stomach liners include pies and cheese.
Tickets are £5 a head, £8 for two of you, and include four drams from across the range (though some will incur a premium). Get tickets here.
