THEY’VE hardly cleared the glasses after the hugely successful Summer Beer Thing, but The Pilcrow Pub are now kicking off their own equivalent of ‘foodie Fridays’ with a guest trader providing quality ballast for their craft beer range throughout July and August

This first Friday (July 6) couldn’t get off to a better start with those masters of bao, gyoza, home-made kimchi and other pan-Asian delights –Wallace and Sons.

We’d suggest pairing former Mr Cooper’s sous chef John Wallace’s Chicken Katsu curry with the official beer of Manchester Beer Week, a Summer Pale Ale.
