GREAT news for those of us who lamented the loss of Lupo Caffe Italiano from Chapel Street after their landlord served them notice.
Now owners Nico and Ornella have bounced back as they said they would with a new home on the way in Salford Quays. Nico has posted on social media “I have been bursting to tell you, but couldn’t until we had the keys. We have a new place!!! You will find us in the new Urban Splash building, The Boatshed, on Exchange Quay in a few weeks!!!!! Thanks so much everybody for your support. See you at Lupo chapter Two.”
So the new home for the Best Coffee House at the 2015 Manchester Food and Drink Awards (they were shortlisted again this year) with some great rustic Italian food will be on the banks of the River Irwell in a radically transformed Nineties office block within easy reach of MediaCIty.
