Oktoberfest at the Albert Hall – dust off the designer lederhosen

13 September 2018

OKTOBER always comes early at the Albert Hall. So once again that specific month-centric beer bacchanalia takes place in September (Fri 14 and Sat 15). Last year Oktoberfest sold out with some 2,000 beer lovers descending upon the Grade II listed former Methodist church hall on Peter Street Albert Hall so they’ve extended into three sessions serving all the limited edition beers from the official festival in Munich. Paulaner, Hacker Pschorr, Spaten and more will be matched in a mighty ‘beer-off’ against local brews from Blackjack and Seven Brothers. Plus oodles of Bavarian oompah, Man DJs, festival tables and, inevitably, a pig-out sausage fest.

Fri 14 & Sat 15 Sep, Albert Hall, 27 Peter Street, Manchester M2 5QR. Tel: 0161 817 3490. Fri session: 5pm-11pm, Sat sessions: noon-5pm & 6pm-11pm), £12.50 + fee. Book tickets here
