Rabbit In The Moon to relaunch by the end of March

16 March 2018 by Neil Sowerby

WHO knew? The Bunny’s been in hibernation but it’s back soon. Michael O’Hare’s ‘Space Age Asian’ restaurant atop Urbis, The Rabbit In The Moon, will reopen on Thursday, March 29 with the self-styled Metal Hair Chef himself at the helm.

Check their Twitter feed @urbisrabbit for a sneak pictorial preview of the new menu, which promises to refine their food offering (and revamp the interior) 15 months after G&G Hospitality opened the place and six months since the still puzzling departure of launch chef Luke Cockerill.

Meanwhile, trying to pin down a launch date for G&G’s long awaited twin restaurant project – The Man Who Fell To Earth and Are Friends Electric? is like trying to penetrate the mind of Vladimir Putin.

These two O’Hare projects will be inside the boutique hotel being created from the former  Stock Exchange on Norfolk Street. It’s hard to resist the old ‘moving the goalposts’ analogy with Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs the developers.

The Rabbit In The Moon, Urbis Building, Corporation St, Manchester M4 3BG. 0161 804 8560. Bookings being taken now.
