Real Junk Food Project pop-up at Gray's Larder

22 March 2017

AS the Real Junk Food Project Manchester’s secret new base slowly takes shape in Ancoats, they are spreading their message in Chorlton by teaming up Gray's Larder for a pop-up dinner there.

As with all their events, every dish will be made entirely from ingredients that would otherwise go to waste and it’s served on a pay-as-you-feel basis. It will take place on Tuesday, March 28 with two sittings at 6pm and 8.30pm. Book your tickets here

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (not pay-as-you-feel) are available at the cash-only bar until 11pm.

All funds raised will go directly to support The Real Junk Food Project Manchester in fighting food waste and food poverty. It’s a not for profit community interest company, which works with food businesses to reduce food waste, and make sure everyone can access enough food and good food.

Over 15 million tonnes of food goes to waste every year in the UK alone, most of it perfectly edible.

Gray’s Larder, 123 Manchester Rd, Manchester M21 9PG. 0161 286 1961.
