IT’S a real treat to sit in the cinema and eat while watching the latest movie. And we’re not talking buckets of sickly popcorn. Everyman cinemas nationwide offer a menu at each of their 26 venues, including Altrincham. That number will be 27 when they launch in autumn 2019 Allied London’s Enterprise City venture in the St John’s Quarter near Old Granada Studios.
The cinema, with sofas and armchairs, will slot into the historic ABC buildings, retaining much of its Sixties architectural vibe. Food comes from their Spielburger restaurant and centres on pizzas and burgers American diner style, which seems a good fit.
