SUCH is our city’s insatiable thirst for gin that an extra date has been has been added to The Gin Society’s forthcoming festival at Manchester Cathedral. Step forward Thursday, September 28 (6.30pm-11pm), a tonic for all those folk who lost out in the original scramble for tickets for the Friday evening and two Saturday sessions.
Buy them here and get access to 100 different gins, including some surprising newcomers, plus gin cocktails, prosecco and a small selection of other drinks.
As on previous visits, all gins are a fiver a go with garnishes and appropriate Fentimans tonics, while a gaggle of distillers will be on hand to talk botanicals with you.
Tickets for each session are just £7.50 plus booking fee.Included in the entry price is a beautiful bespoke Gin Society gin goblet to keep as a souvenir, plus a booklet of tasting notes.
