Ultimate food safari across five unique spaces for Action Against Hunger

DINERS will have the chance to eat a menu from top chefs at some of the most exclusive private spaces in Manchester in a Moveable Feast in aid of international development organisation Action Against Hunger.

On Thursday, September 28, the peripatetic supper club will see chefs Adam Reid and Mary-Ellen McTague plus Hawksmoor, King Street Townhouse and Grafene preparing a special menu in five unique venues. 

Lucky guests will be accommodated in four staggered groups, only 15 per party. Tickets are £80 a head (buy them here)  including entry to the event, a cocktail reception, four course dinner and drink pairings as well as all entertainment and guidance between venues. 

All funds raised will directly support Action Against Hunger’s work ending child malnutrition in over 49 countries around the world.

Guests will be treated to drinks in the exclusive cellar and cinema,a new events space at King Street Townhouse before being whisked between courses, taking in The French with a course hosted by Adam Reid and his top sommelier; Mary-Ellen McTague's new space opened privately after hours at the Manchester Art Gallery; a gorgeous course at Hawksmoor’s exclusive private dining room; and concluding at Grafene's private dining room (main picture).

Adam Reid Chef Patron at the French said “I'm really looking forward to The French being part of The Moveable Feast. Hopefully we can pull off doing something a bit different for what is an amazing cause.”

Mary-Ellen McTague exec chef at Manchester Art Gallery Café said: “This is a rare opportunity to dine in the Gallery after hours. Our guests will have a wonderful evening in this very special setting. Last year I went to Ethiopia with Action Against Hunger. The work they do to end child hunger is very important to me and I am looking forward to helping raise money through Moveable Feast.”

Every course and experience within each venue has been carefully thought about to give diners an experience unlike they will have ever received, prepare for some surprises along the way.”
