THERE’S an alternative to gluhwein as a winter warmer at Manchester Christmas Markets. Stop by The Whisky Lounge’s debut Pop Up Festive Whisky Hut in Brazennose Street.
It offers the chance to sample a tot or two from across the globe but also to benefit the victims of the Manchester Arena Bombing. Their expert team has created a special Manchester Whisky Blend, from which £2 of every bottle sold will be donated to the I Love Manchester Arena Appeal.
Based in York the Whisky Lounge is the UK’s biggest provider of ‘water of life’ events, staging the Manchester Whisky Festival, now in it’s ninth year. Over 2,000 whisky novices and enthusiasts flocked to Manchester Town Hall in September and enjoyed over 100 whiskies.
Besidses bottle pop-up hut as some fabulous whisky-themed Christmas gifts and sells tickets to their regular tasting sessions.
The Whisky Lounge Pop Up Festive Whisky Shop is situated on Brazennose Street, and is open from 10am-7:30pm daily.
