NOT just a Masterchef but now a culinary Phileas Fogg, that’s Simon Wood, he of the eponymous restaurant down on First Street. No we don’t mean he’s endorsing the crisps brand – more excitingly embarking on the second voyage in his ‘WOOD Around The World’ dinner series.
After the debut exploration of Australia last month the destination this time, on Tuesday, February 20, will be Spain. The four course menu, created by Simon Wood and head chef Mike Jennings, will feature authentic Spanish ingredients with each course being matched with a special Spanish wine hand picked by in-house expert, Michael Delaney,
The menu will include padron peppers, Iberica Pork with a WOOD take on rabbit paella, followed by Crema Catalana.
