A new three-part documentary series has launched on BBC2 following the opening months of two of Manchester's most celebrated restaurants. The French by Simon Rogan and Living Venture's Manchester House, with The Church Green's Aiden Byrne at the helm are portrayed getting ready to open in this landmark series for BBC2 directed by acclaimed Manchester-based director, Nick Mattingly.
The first part of the programme was shown on BBC2 at 8pm on Monday 14 April, with the next two parts scheduled to be show on Monday 21 and Monday 28 April 2014. This being television, someone will come out on top, but with both @AidenByrne and @TheFrenchSR tweeting that bookings are up, we suspect that all publicity is good publicity.
