The Bay Horse has been a Manchester institution since the Georgian era. Now under new ownership and gloriously refurbed, it is born again. Our own reviewer was deterred by co-owner Lyndon Higginson’s billing of it as ‘The Rovers Return meets Soho House’ but was won over by the quality of the quirky revamp and some decidedly excellent pub food, rare in the city centre, Chop Houses aside.
