At the Eagle and Child Ramsbottom, twice MFDF Food pub of the year and with former Chef of the Year Alex Shaw at the helm, they are all about serving up the finest Lancashire pub grub with fresh local and seasonal ingredients. Their meat comes from the Lancashire countryside, in particular the Bowland fells, and their fish is supplied fresh from Fleetwood. They have gone back to basics and rustled up some of Grandmas’ favourite classics which will leave you feeling like you’ve been properly fed! Try their fabulous cheese and onion pie served in the old enamel pie tin or slow braised heather-fed lamb in their Lancashire Hotpot.
