This popular, Greek restaurant came into being 22 years ago with the owner recently winning a lifetime achievement award at Manchester Food and Drink Festival. Perfect for group dining, choose from a host of tapas-sized dishes (meze). Guacamole, hummus, aubergine and tomato, lamb stew, meat balls, patatas bravas with chorizo and lush Greek salads are all excellent - or go for a platter to share. The vegetarian spread includes pitta, dolmades, butter beans in a rich sauce, tabouleh, homemade falafels and more - and unlike at other places where set menus or spreads can be an excuse for cutting corners, this truly is a massive smorgasbord of the best food the house has to offer: meat and seafood options keeping the stakes just as high. Greek and European wines are available by the glass, bottle or carafe, and theres an atmospheric bar to relax at too. The conservatory seating area is particularly lovely.
