A new PizzaExpress has opened on King Street. Located in a former bank, its got a plush new interior with lashings of marble and brass - the kind of decoration that suits a spot in the heart of the former financial district of Manchester.
The menu includes classic Italian pizzas and low-calorie Leggera dishes, which are typically less than 500 calories. Ten new dishes include four gluten-free options and a cheese-free pizza that is suitable for vegans. Seasonal choices include Leggera Summer Salad and two summery desserts a Strawberry and Cream Glory and Lemon and Blueberry Glory; and The Hugo a refreshing cocktail made with Prosecco, mint leaves, elderflower and a slice of lemon over ice.
