20 Stories announce details of their MFDF dinner and it's a cracker

5 August 2019

MOST of 2019 Manchester Food and Drink Festival’s high profile chef dinners are concentrated on the Dining Dome at the new Cathedral Gardens hub. But arguably the ‘highest’ profile of them all, 20 Stories is making its own contribution at its glamorous rooftop lair 19 floors above the city.

They’ve announced the menu for an exclusive three course MFDF Dinner on Thursday, October 3, created by head chef Brian Hughson (busy man – he’s also doing a chef’s demo at the hub on Saturday, September 28)).

For the dinner he is serving a salmon ballotine with a crème fraiche and sweet lemon dressing, followed by a loin of Dingley Dell pork, smoked pancetta and butternut squash risotto and, to conclude, salted caramel tart and ginger stem ice cream.

It costs £60 a head with accompanying wines. Guests are invited from 7pm for an arrival drink on the beautiful terrace overlooking the city centre, followed by dinner at 7.30pm.

Manchester Food and Drink Festival takes place between September 26 and October 7 in venues across the city and at the Festival Hub. Full details via their website.
