ALBERT’S DIDSBURY TO UNDERGO £500,000 NEW YEAR REFURB

20 December 2018

ALBERT’S in West Didsbury is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a £50,000 refurbishment. The well-established neighbourhood restaurant  is set to close from Wednesday, January 2 and reopen in late March with an updated look and feel both inside and out.

Expect a new furniture and artwork and fresh colour scheme and more use of greenery in the transformation by award-winning Manchester-based interior designers, Space Invader Design.

Albert’s drinks area will be enlarged to become new destination bar for the area. There’ll be a more extensive local and craft beer selection plus a seasonal, signature cocktail collection.Guests will be able to book party tables at Albert’s Bar jo enjoy its revamped grazing menu.

The terrace will also be refreshed to reveal a cleverly designed outdoor space ready for sunny afternoons along Barlow Moor Road (just let’s get this soggy winter over).

Albert’s aficionados needn’t worry about the restaurant menu ditching its house dishes. Definitely staying put are the made Lancashire cheese and onion pie (still made to the same recipe that owner James Ramsbottom’s mum uses in her own kitchen), Albert’s Fish and Chips, the stone baked pizzas and Malayan Chicken.
