JUST a short train ride away from Piccadilly station on the Glossop line, the village of Broadbottom are holding their 5th Annual Beer Festival.
Hop on a train next weekend (May 23-24) to enjoy a selection of locally brewed beers whilst watching live cricket.
The Broadbottom Beer Festival focuses on supporting the local community, and aims to serve all locally produced beer and cider.
They'll be serving up a fantastic range local brews, including; Green Mill Brewer (Broadbottom), The Tweed Brewery (Newton), Mouselow Farm Brewery (Hadfield), Tickety Brew (Stalybridge), Wilson Potter (Middleton), Millstone Brewery (Mossley), Greenfield Brewing Company (Greenfield), Howard Town (Glossop), Bollington, Stockport Brewing Company, Cryptic Ales (Stockport), Wincle Brewery(Macclesfield), Deeply Vale Brewery (Bury), Silver Street Brewery (Bury), Fool Hardy Ales (Stockport), Hornbeam Brewery (Denton), Mad Hatter Cider (Stockport) and Saxon Cider (Batley) .
Food will also be available and is provided locally by Mettricks.
Finally, the money raised over the weekend goes back into the cricket club to fund the next generation of cricketers.
