Bank Holiday foodie bonanza at Lowry Outlet’s Three day Makers Market

28 April 2017

WHEN you’ve exhausted all that May Day energy dancing round the maypole (or shopping, in hope, for your summer wardrobe) re-energise yourself at the three day Makers Market food extravaganza this weekend at The Lowry Outlet.

There are over 110 traders, many selling crafts, vintage and art, but food is a major player, too. Making their debut are Greekalicious, Signature Scones, The Fancy Shortbread Co and Venezuelan House UK.

They join old stagers such as Martins Bakery, The Muffin Mistress, Weenie Bakes, MCR Doughnut Co, Cumbrian Pig with their Open Top Growlers, Daddy Cool’s hot sauces, Weston Biltong, Weird and Wonderful Cheese plus Malaysian curry and chilli pastes from Mamatan.

The street food arena offers pizzas from Wood Fire and Smoke, bratwurst from In The Dog House, burgers from What’s Your Beef, wraps from Oh My Glaze, paella from Spanish Tapas and Japanese dumplings from Wallace and Sons.

Lowry Outlet, The Quays, Salford, M50 3AH. Sat, April 29 10am-7pm; Sun, April 30, 11am-5pm; Mon, May 1, 10am-6pm.
