Owner Lyndon Higginson’s February philosophy appears to be what’s a tiki bar without some fine grains under foot? Cue big order to a builder’s merchant. It gets laid. Perfect for a very long launch party from 5pm on Thursday, March 1 to 4am next day. Complete with inflatables, buckets, spades and flip-flops for those in stilettos.
Here at ToM we’re unwrinkling our Hawaiian shirts in readiness. And if you don’t make it for this night, don’t worry, no one’s in a rush to give the sands the brush-off. At least until real summer.
A further Liar’s Club fun initiative – the bar is also launching Payday Palooza, starting on March 9. Payday Palooza will become a regular fixture on The Liars Club calendar every Friday night, with the first 50 people through the door getting their first drink free of charge. Plus sand in their shoes.
