10 May 2024 by Rhiannon Ingle

As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, I'm sure there's one thing that's on all of our minds right now - tinnies in the park.

Well, look no further than Fallowfield's lovely Platt Fields Market Garden as they have teamed up with Track Brewing to throw a family-friendly festival coming later this summer.

Beers in the Garden is a celebration of great beer, cider and wine and some of the finest food the North West can offer accompanied by live DJ sets, all hosted within the wonderful surroundings of Platt Fields Market Garden.

Track Brewery have handpicked a selection of drinks from breweries all around the UK, Stockport’s Where The Light Gets In will be serving fire-cooked dishes, the Honest Crust team are on pizza duties while MUD Kitchen and ISCA will be offering delicious small plates. A range of hot and soft drinks will also be available.

There will also be a bunch of cracking live DJ sets across all three days to soundtrack the festival as well as solstice and full moon celebrations and family activities for all ages during the Saturday and Sunday daytime.

For adults, expect a series of activities to get involved with each day, including a casual running club around Platt Fields Park, craft workshops and dance.

There are four sessions to choose from:

Friday eve, 21 Jun, 5pm – 9pm

Saturday day, 22 Jun, 12pm – 4pm

Saturday eve, 22 Jun, 5pm – 9pm

Sunday day, 23 Jun, 12pm – 6pm
