CONGRATULATIONS to Reserve of West Didsbury for scooping the Independent Retailer of the Year Trophy in the 2016 International Wines and Spirits Competition. Owner Kate Goodman, well known from presenting BBC Food and Drinkshow with Michel Roux, collected the award at a banquet in London’s Guildlhall.
The award “ recognises the key role played by independent merchants in encouraging the understanding, and sales, of quality wines and spirits. Entries are judged on the quality of their range, service and display; including value added, promotional events and tastings and their digital / social presence.”
Reserve, now 10 years old, has a shop at 176 Burton Road and an outlet in Altrincham Market House.
