ASKED to name our region’s most cutting edge craft brewery and its restaurant equivalent odds are ToM would go for Cloudwater and Stockport’s Where The Light Gets In. So imagine our excitement that the duo are collaborating for a very special Manchester Beer Week event.
Tickets have just gone on sale for a £110 a head dinner at WTLGI on Friday, July 6, where a selection of challenging small plates will be served alongside beers from the brewery named second best in the world at the RateBeer Best Awards.
Chef Sam Buckley and his team (pictured below) have also been showered with plaudits, including ‘Newcomer of the Year’ in the 2017 Manchester Food and Drink Awards. They describe this particular one-off meal as a narrative “response to the world around them, to their curiosity with the native ingredients of a lost island.”
