ALPHABET spells Christmas this Saturday (December 3) as the Piccadilly Beer Mile brewery puts a seasonal spin on its regular weekly collaboration with street food organisers GRUB. So expect a ‘stollen’ flavoured version of Alphabet’s Flat White breakfast stout, a rum-doused verson of gluhwein called Feuerzangenbowle, mince pie cocktails plus mulled wine and cider.
Add in pizza from Purely Pizza, Indian street food from Vaso Kitchen, seafood specialists Holy Crab, vegan bakery Nicely Kitchen and comfort food from Mac Daddies, a gift stall from local artists, the Northern Quarter Boys Choir, Christmas trees to buy on the day and the regular DJ roster and there’s every reason to feel festive. Cards accepted at the bar, but the food stalls only take cash.
