AS one door closes, as they say, another opens. So as pop-up maestros GRUB brought their monthly Food Fair at Runaway Brewery to an end for 2016 on Saturday, September 17 they promptly announced their next brewery collaboration.
They will now be moving their MFDF award nominated GRUB Food Fair to Alphabet Brewing Co. (five minutes’ walk from Piccadilly Station) to take place every Saturday.
Jason Bailey, director of GRUB said “We have absolutely loved working with Runaway but we desperately needed a bigger roof over our heads for the winter and ABC is a perfect spot for us. We can’t wait to get started with turning Grub Food Fair in to the best beer & food destination in Manchester every Saturday!”
The opening party kicks off on Saturday October 15 with food from Honest Crust, Fancy An Indian, Fat Annies, The Good Wolf and Blawd Bakehouse alongside beers served as fresh as can be straight from the brewery. Local crafty soda merchants Steep Soda are in charge of cocktail duties.
Alphabet head brewer Tom Evans said: “The brewery is a brilliant venue for events and we’ve had some great gigs and parties here since we opened to the public. We’re really looking forward to GRUB being a permanent weekly fixture and serving up top class craft beer with the best street food in the north west.’"
