TICKETS are selling fast for the hangingditch Wine Fair at Manchester Cathedral on Friday, November 20. Now in its eighth year, this showcase for the neighbouring wine merchant has become a victim of its own popularity. Capacity this year has been halved to 250 to concentrate on the serious tasting rather than the ‘let’s party’ side. Tickets cost £35 but you can redeem up to £25 of this if you buy a dozen or more bottles on the night. It’s always a splendid occasion. Highly recommended.
