Health conscious eaterie Rust and Stone to open in Spinningfields

22 July 2015

There's soon to be a new member of the Spinningfields foodie family popping up next month. Rust and Stone promises to be a health conscious cafe and takeaway, with organic juices and clean eating.

Although we're not keen beans on the healthy eating vibes, the menu is currently being developed by chef David Gale. Gale's food has had people raving over the re-launched Lawn Club (see our review here), so TOM has high hopes for the menu.

James Wrigley from Fluid Bars says “Rust & Stone really taps into the growing trend for eating clean, juices, yoga and a healthy lifestyle. We want to bring something different to Spinningfields, giving diners healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. By day, we will be creating a beautiful, inviting café bar environment that will provide our customers with temporary refuge from the hustle of the city centre. By night, we will transform into an elegant chill-out destination with organic cocktails, Moroccan style seating, live music and lanterns.

“We’re hoping to attract gym goers, yoga, pilates and fitness fans, personal trainers, residents and those who work in the Spinningfields and wider city centre areas, as well as those from student villages, Chorlton and other suburbs of Manchester. It will appeal to health conscious workers on their lunchbreaks, as well as parents and families looking for a healthy hangout at the weekend."
