APPLE Day, it’s hard to believe it’s a first for the city. So best get down to Platt Fields Park this Saturday to enjoy the most apple-rated bunch of activities in the UK.
It’s a co-project between theFriends of Platt Fields Park, Helping Britain Blossom andThe Orchard Project. Attractions include a craft fair and produce market, featuring Platt Fields Market Garden, selling organic fruit and veg grown on the old bowling green at the park.
Celebrate 2017's national Community Orchard of the Year with a series of activities including live apple juicing, an orchard scavenger hunt and a veggie barbecue.
