Just the ticket as Real Junk Food serve up an ethical treat on a double decker bus

16 May 2017 by Neil Sowerby

REAL Junk Food Manchester are serving a very special dinner on a reconditioned double decker bus. The event, in Alexandra Park, Whalley Range on Wednesday, May 24, kicks off the Summer Hoopla, a season of events for fellow social enterprise Commonplace

The bus operates as a mobile event space across Greater Manchester, offering a unique venue for community groups, charities, start-ups and businesses to host pop-up events and one-of-a kind gatherings.

So it seems the perfect fit for RJFM, who in the last year have delivered weddings, gala dinners, pop-up restaurants to promoted their cause – sourcing food that would

otherwise go to waste to create restaurant quality meals on a pay-as-you-feel basis.

The evening will feature two sittings, one at 5.30pm and one at 7.15pm, and places are strictly limited. Tickets are available on Eventbrite

Wednesday, May 24, 5.30-9pm. Commonplace Bus, Alexandra Park, Russell Street, Whalley Range, Manchester, M16 7JL.
