GIN Fever. Is there no cure? Seems not as a three day festival with that name takes over Unit 8 of the Mayfield Depot. It will stock 100 varieties, offer G&Ts with every variety of tonic and cocktails designed to enhance a myriad botanicals. And for when you crave a break from the juniper-led delights there’s an alternative bar stocking cider and local craft beers plus stomach-lining street food and live music.
Then back to the main event for masterclasses where industry experts will tutor you in the complexities of distillation, botanicals, and mixology. After which you’ll doubtless wish to purchase a pretty bottle or two to take home. The £10 ticket price includes a festival goblet, one free G&T and a 10% discount from their online shop.
