Over the croissant moon – a genuine French patisserie in Didsbury

THE Moreau family are up for two gongs at the Manchester Food And Drink Awards. Their impeccably French eaterie 63 Degrees is up for Restaurant of the Year and dad Eric is up for Chef. Meanwhile, son Alex has been busy catering for the sweet tooth of Didsbury Village.

He has just opened an impeccably French patisserie on Wilmslow Road. Prices aren’t low (£1.50 for a bijou baguette, tartelettes touching four quid)  but the quality of cakes and croissants is winning admirers prepared to queue at weekends. Voilaa, maybe another prize contender in the future.
