THERE’S a new batch of top street food traders taking over the Albert Square Hub from Wednesday, September 16 until Sunday, September 20. Churros, dogs, fresh fish, pizza, ice cream and some seriously healthy options, too. For details of the remaining paxked festival programme visit here.

Los Churros Amigos are bringing the joy of churros and melted Belgian chocolate to our Great British shores. This Latino indulgence is a pick me up treat and perfect for the whole family. Having transformed the collapsed family barn into their first stall, Los Churros Amigos promises to add a great aesthetic to the festival.

Not Dogs are Meaty Dogs Without The Meat! Not Dogs was created by Katie and Jane in their frustration at the lack of trustworthy meaty meals and mouth-watering veggie food while out and about. From their little purple food truck, they serve up their exclusive 8” Quorn Bratwurst packed with tasty and unique home-made toppings.

The Mac Factory offers 6 unique choices of gourmet Mac n Cheese. Served in attractive pots and topped with their signature parmesan and thyme crumble that will have you queuing up for more. For The Mac Factory, creating Mac n Cheese isn’t just a job, it’s a passion!

Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen takes inspiration from its cultural roots and combining with a modern culinary approach, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen brings Ghanaian culture to ever increasing audience through food. They will be showcasing traditional Ghanaian fayre with the addition of an exciting, contemporary twist.

Odd Bar hugely successful in the Northern Quarter and Chorlton bars, is treating us to a feast of delectable gourmet burgers. Served on a soft brioche bun, options include rum roasted pork, chilli beef and grilled marinated halloumi. 

Piggie Smalls offer hot dogs double smoked over applewood and slow cooked pulled pork combine to create a delicious meaty feast. Putting their own unique spin on these North American classics, Piggie Smalls are a current favourite in the Manchester street food market.

Fire and Slice cook artisan pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven on their vintage inspired stall. 

Tampopo serve up flavours sourced from the street-markets of Bangkok, the hawker stalls of Singapore and the noodle vendors of Tokyo, honed to perfection in their stable of eateries.

Chalk Bar and Grill

Didsbury’s Chalk Bar and Grill - Mocktail, Slow cooked steak suet pudding, creamed mash potato, roast root veg and gravy, sweet lemon tart and raspberry sorbet

The Little Fish Boat provides day boat caught sustainable fresh fish, real chips and brilliant mushy peas, cooke by chef Robert Owen Brown.  Fresh fish to take home and the famous Manchester egg will be available too.

Ginger’s Comfort Emporium is an ice cream van for the grown-ups. Expect creamy, fruity, nutty, chocolatey, meringuey, spicy, boozy, crunchy, refreshing, comforting iced desserts.

Iberica bring an authentic taste of Spain to MFDF from their Spinningfields restaurant. Michelin-starred executive head chef Nacho Manzano ensures only the highest quality ingredients imported from carefully selected Spanish producers are used.

Scene Dining  is Spinningfield’s first Indian restaurant, aiming at authentic street food inspired by the sub-continent.
