THE summer party season shows no sign of slowing down. Latest must-do events come from the enterprising folk at Shebeen UK, who on the weekend of July 24 take over Black Jack Brewery. It kicks off on the Friday with the Sham Bodie Summer Party – an evening of comedy from their roster of acts, hot dogs from STREETDAWGS, a hot dog eating competition and live music. The brewery on Gould Street is open from 6pm with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets (£5 plus booking fee) are available here.
The rest of the weekend will feature quality craft beers, naturally, and amazing food (courtesy of street food events operators GRUB) plus loads of music. Saturday 25th is a Nepal Earthquake Benefit, while Sunday 26th is a collaboration between Love From the Streets and Mughli.
Mughli has been nominated for Restaurant of the Year in the 2015 Manchester Food and Drink Awards, while Shebeenand the Black Jack Brewery Tap are both up for Best Food and Drink Pop Up Event, Club or Project of the Year.
