REGULARS at Don Giovanni on Oxford Street have already been enjoying the bespoke dishes created for Manchester’s oldest continuously trading Italian restaurant by celeb chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Now comes the chance, on Tuesday, January 17, to sample his cooking first hand. As part of a yearlong partnership, the four time Michelin star and AA Rosette winner is hosting a £50-a-head five-course dinner, paired with wines from Don Giovanni’s cellars.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet the chef and hear him explain the philosophy behind his special dishes – which will include braised lamb shanks, seared scallops and slow-roasted honey and cinnamon-infused pears.
Don Giovanni, Peter House, 1-2 Oxford St, Manchester M1 5AN. 0161 228 2482. Tue 17 January, 2017, 7pm. Buy tickets here.
