WHAT better way to launch your summer beer menu than with a three day tropical party. Maybe Cottonopolis calling it their Tropadelica Weekender is just asking for the heavens to open up, but hey, a monsoon outside is hardly going to dampen the fun inside the stylish NQ bar.
It all kicks off on Friday, June 9, with a North vs South Juicy Beer Takeover. Beer taps around the venue will be taken over by craft brewing stars including Cloudwater, Gipsy Hill, North and Verdant – with brewers on hand to answer any pressing questions. Plus there’s the chance to win beer-filled and beer merchandise hamper. The Friday evening soundtrack comes from Captain Stingray’s Groove Machine and Lowell Walbank, One Tree Island and Jonjo Williams.
To help you recover next day check out the Bottomless Saturday Brunch (10am-2pm and repeated on Sunday), the food paired with hand-picked beers and/or bottomless Prosecco, Bellinis and Bloody Marys.
Music continues in the tropical groove, featuring the likes of Sol Colectivo, while the make up artists from The Gypsy Shrine turn you into a work of art with their glitter station – all for free. Perfect makeover before Parklife?
