Unlimited curry nights and family favourites: Thursday Treasures new menu launch at The Laureate Restaurant

7 March 2024 by Rhiannon Ingle

The Laureate Restaurant has just today (7th March) launched its brand-new Thursday Treasures menu serving up those who love a good curry with unlimited portions packed to the brim with unlimited tradition.

Diners can enjoy a whole world of authentic family recipes every Thursday night where the heart of their team and the essence of family recipes take centre stage.

Guests can enjoy a menu featuring eight different curries, unlimited for 90 minutes from the signature house special, Ghar Ka chicken tikka masala, to the gorgeous Keralan new mango and prawn curry. Oh and, of course, the lovely staff will bring over poppadums and snacks before the culinary adventure kicks off.

Born out of the rich tapestry of nationalities and cultures, Thursday Treasures is all about celebrating the rich cultural diversity in Manchester while paying homage to the culinary traditions that have shaped the restaurant's chefs' upbringing.

Other offerings on the menu include; Lufti’s Indonesian Beef Rendang which is a slow-cooked beef infused with a medley of roasted aromatic spices, resulting in a savoury and slightly sweet Indonesian delight alongside Joy’s One Pot Thai Chicken Massaman which is influenced by Thai, Persian, and Indian spices - boasting a fragrant and nutty taste, with tender chicken in a luscious Massaman sauce.

Diners can also enjoy the Classic Paneer Do Pyasa, a vegetarian staple with the perfect balance of cumin, coriander, garam masala, and kasuri methi, as well as Matt’s Jamaican Chicken, a succulent chicken infused with Jamaican flavours, served with sweet potatoes and a hint of lime.

The menu also spotlights Joseph’s Keralan Cheru Payar, a traditional Keralan dish with mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, and coconut, and, we can't forget, the Classic Lamb Rogan Josh which is slow-cooked lamb in a rich and aromatic Rogan josh gravy with Kashmiri chilli, fennel, ginger, and saffron.

Passed down through generations, each dish tells a story of cultural richness and familial traditions, ensuring a truly authentic and unforgettable experience.
