VEGANUARY UPDATE – Harvey Nicks is going plant-based

8 January 2018

EVEN Harvey Nichols doesn’t want to be left out of the great Veganuary push. Its Second Floor Brasserie and Bar has launched it first vegan menu, created using seasonal plant-based ingredients. And there was ToM thinking our round-up of this groundbreaking trend throughout January was comprehensive.

HN’s new menu offers dishes from £6 to £12, across three courses, a selection of vegan wines by the bottle and a speciality vegan cider.

Those dishes include a curried parsnip soup with pickled apples, sultanas and coriander or pumpkin hummus, marinated vegetables, olives, pickles and a warm chickpea salad. Sweets include pineapple ravioli with sweet chili syrup and mango sorbet or a chocolate sponge with maple-roasted banana ice cream and toasted pecan nuts.

The beauty department is also up for Veganuary with an array of vegan-friendly, cruelty-free beauty brands and products throughout January.
