MANCHESTER’s student shopping extravaganza, MCR Student Night Out, is back on Thursday, April 27 – a whirlwind shopathon encompassing over 140 exclusive one-night-only discounts, music and entertainment on the streets and in store across the city centre.
But while the focus may be on those fashionista-friendly discounts up to 30 per cent and checking out who has won Manchester Arndale’s Student Band competition there’s also a host of street food popping up, food and drink discounts and some wacky food and drink contests, too.
The winner takes it all on Market Street as Barburrito gives students the chance to win a free bag of chips and dip by competing with their friends in a giant game of Noughts and Crosses, while Byron is hosting Giant Beer Pong to win burgers.
