Why feel blue this February when Cheese Fest UK is back?

11 February 2019

WITH 18 further venues across the land planned for 2019 the Cheese Fest UK is a rolling showcase for all things cheesy. Still it proved such a success in Manchester last year, attracting 8,000 punter, it’s back – at Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Stretford this weekend (Feb 16-17).

Over 40 vendors have signed up, including The Blue Caribou Poutine Boys, fresh from their appearance on the Million Pound Menu and the Raclette Brothers, serving ‘what it says ‘on the label’. Less us is the prospect of savoury camembert doughnuts and rumours prosecco flavoured cheese.

Former Coronation Street actor Sean Wilson (Martin Platt) will showcase his brand The Artisan Farm and his most popular cheeses. There will be live demos, street food stalls, an artisan cheese market and even Wallace and Gromit model-making classes.

Cheese Fest, Feb 16-17. Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Longbridge Road, Stretford M17 1EH. Tickets £5-£7, depending on arrival time – book here.
