Christmas is fast approaching, and The Lowry Hotel’s River Bar and Grill is on hand to take the stress out of Christmas parties this year.
Situated on the peaceful banks of the River Irwell, the five star surroundings offer an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the high streets.
And to make it even more special, this Christmas sees new head chef Andrew Green (see our recent interview here) launch a fresh festive menu.
Tempting mains include the classic Goosnargh turkey with cranberry and orange sauce, sausage wrapped in pancetta and rosemary stuffing. Or, have a more non-conformist Christmas with a fillet of perfectly cooked hake, served with curried carrot puree, grilled artichoke and ginger aioli.
As well as a traditional Lowry Christmas pudding, desserts feature an exciting range of treats including a seasonal pavlova of mango and passion fruit.

The festive prize is for a total of four people to experience the three course Christmas menu anytime during December, excluding Christmas day and subject to booking availability.
