Even before the Stockport band who proudly bear its name soared to stardom, this Robinsons tied house on the A6 heading south was a star in its own right – a real community local. This grade II listed former coaching house has an unusual triangular shape, due to its corner location, and has survived unscathed the late 20th century fashion for open plan pubs. The Blossoms retains its original small intimate rooms, central curved bar and a first floor function room. A good place to check out Robinsons unusually wide range of ales, including their seasonal specials.
